Breathe easy when you clean with so-much-safer Sol-U-Mel!

Melaleuca Sol-U-MelIsn’t it just awful how so many stain remover products almost advise you to wear a space suit when using their product? They instruct you to wear eye protection and a face mask, cover your skin when using it, and wash any part of your skin exposed to it. They actually use the word contamination, telling you if your clothing is “contaminated” with their product, wash it immediately! Not only that, but they strongly advise you not to breathe their products’ fumes, mist, or spray in for very long, but they don’t specify how long ‘very long’ is. And if it’s not good to be around their product ‘very long,’ why would anyone want to be around it at all?

Goo Gone® Degreaser’s key ingredient is petroleum distillates. They are irritating to the skin, and are considered a breathing hazard. They may be fatal if swallowed.

Here’s what the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Household Product Database warns about Goo Gone:

“Warnings—Hazard Statements: Causes serious eye irritation, skin irritation and/or respiratory tract irritation. If breathing is difficult, remove VICTIM to fresh air. Wear eye protection, face protection, and protective gloves. Avoid breathing the dust, fume, gas, mist, vapors, or spray. Wash CONTAMINATED work clothing.”

Can you think of any world in which it makes sense to expose your family to these hideous health risks just to get rid of a simple stain?

Sol-U-Mel is a sane and simple solution for getting rid of stains without endangering your family’s health. How does it work? Stains dissolve in Sol-U-Mel the way salt dissolves in water thanks to a proprietary combination of three cleaners featuring the solvent action of all-natural Melaleuca Oil. It can vanish grease, permanent market, pet accidents, paint and fingernail polish, spaghetti sauce, wine, gum in hair or in the carpet, tree sap, and even road tar! It’s a wonderful freshener and deodorizer for wastebaskets and garbage cans. It removes the odors of smoke, pets, and even mold from the air and furniture.

Feel free to use Sol-U-Mel on your cabinets, walls, non-wood floors, carpet stains, upholstery, and more. And feel good because Sol-U-Mel is safer—for you, your home, and your family.

Can I spray it on mold contaminated couches and just leave it in? Or do I rinse off? Can I use it to get stains out if a sweater? On any product like leather books etc contaminated with mold?
    Thanks.

Sol U Mel has so many benefits. Put it in a load of wash and clothes coming fresh smelling, especially for clothes effected by urine and such like where the odor can linger even after washed. I loved it for removing oil paint from my hands when painting. It is great to clean bathroom garbage cans and anything smelly. The list goes on.
